David was born and raised in Mindanao in the southern Philippines and grew up in a faithful Christian family. Trained as a civil engineer, he now works as a project planner in rail infrastructure, developing programmes and forecasting milestones for major Melbourne projects. David and his wife, Hannah, have two children, Ziggy and Izzy, and enjoy boating, camping, and fishing. Though raised Christian, he considers his 2013 baptism in Hong Kong as when he came to saving faith. After moving from Sydney, his family joined GraceWest in 2020. David’s desire for the local church is faithful, verse-by-verse preaching and equipping believers to stand firm and share God’s Word with joy.
